A Message of Humanity to the Global Community

Image
During the Holocaust era, the Global Community demonstrated a profound scarcity of compassion for the refugees of Europe inherent through the predominant unwillingness to offer Refuge to those  trying to escape persecution. The United States admitted only 997 Jewish refugees for the entire duration of World War II. The United Kingdom organized the Kindertransport of 10,000 children. Latin American countries combined admitted 84,000 Jewish refugees. At the Evian Conference of July 1938, 28 out of 32 attending countries refused to receive any Jewish refugees. Please consider that a coordinated and proactive Global effort to provide Sanctuary for refugees at that time would have minimized or prevented the Holocaust AND that a coordinated and proactive Global effort to rescue and to offer Sanctuary to Palestinian refugees NOW will minimize the death and destruction occurring presently and will also open a pathway to a negotiated resolution of the Palestine situation. Palestine Refugee Proposal to the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs: The Concept

During the Holocaust era the United States admitted a total of 997 Jewish refugees. The United Kingdom organized the kindertransport of 10,000 children; and Latin American countries combined admitted 84,000 Jewish refugees. Twenty-eight of the thirty-two countries which attended the Evian Conference that took place July 6-15, 1938 flatly refused to receive any Jewish refugees. This pattern continued after the Nazis were defeated and the countries of the world (with notable exceptions) continued to refuse to receive Jewish refugees. Many of the member states of The United Nations were among those who did not want to welcome Jewish refugees into their own countries. Therefore, the very decision to recognize the state of Israel may have been tainted, at least in part, by a motivation to not receive Jewish refugees...

Palestine Refugee Proposal: A Humanitarian Proposal to Egypt

Image
A Humanitarian Proposal for the Acceptance of 997 Palestinian (children) Refugees per Day for Thirty Days To the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Honorable Minister, I come to you today with a profound sense of duty, acknowledging Egypt’s long standing role as a leader in the Arab world and its tradition of humanitarian action. In light of the enduring Palestinian refugee crisis, I humbly propose an initiative for Egypt to accept 997 Palestinian refugees per day for thirty days, as part of a broader international effort. This compassionate action would not only alleviate suffering but also reassert Egypt’s place as a moral and diplomatic leader in the Middle East. The Palestinian refugee crisis is not merely a political or geographical issue—it is a humanitarian crisis with deep historical roots that echo the suffering endured by other displaced populations in modern history. The displacement of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians is a tragedy that still reverberates today. W...
